Earlier this year I heard from Faith Fuller, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief at Desktop-Documentaries.com. Desktop Documentaries is a great website that covers everything you need to know about non-fiction filmmaking. From small-budget gear to studies of great historical documentaries, this site covers it all.
In January, Desktop Documentaries published a guest post of mine about small-budget/one-man-show productions, and the kind of gear I use when I make films. Here you’ll learn about my cameras and lenses, how I record audio, and what kinds of extra equipment I use to take my shots to the next level. Being featured on this site was not only very cool for the exposure it brought me, it also started a lot of conversations with fellow filmmakers and editors out there.
