About Me

I grew up in the DMV, but I've been fortunate to have lived and worked all over the world. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, an Eagle Scout, and an avid artist and musician. I love creating work that moves people to take action. While my career has taken me down the paths of conflict work and human rights issues, these days my work is largely focus on the education sector — helping schools and higher ed institutions tell their stories through impactful, authentic design and filmmaking. At CASE, I manage a state-of-the-art multimedia studio and all of our video and motion graphics production and assets. In addition to member testimonial interviews, our studio has expanded into increased animation products, podcasting, multi-cam livestream events, and interactive digital reporting. Via Nesmith Creative, I have spent years creating award-winning visuals, impacting audiences and creating engagement for clients all over the world. At the heart of my work is a commitment to crafting stories that resonate, reflect our shared experiences, and inspire action.
