Last fall, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to northern Vietnam with a group of SSIS high schoolers on their annual “Week Without Walls” trip. This is the kind of learning I love, and I recently did a separate video for SSIS about just these types of trips. But while in Mai Chau, I took some time with the DJI Phantom 4 drone to get some great aerial shots. Interestingly, when the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam saw the video, he shared it on his Facebook page and I instantly got about 6,000 Vimeo hits within the next 24 hours. Believe it or not, National Geographic Travel even approached me about showcasing the video!
